Boundary: No planned changes to Playbooks.

The work focuses on replacing the Table of Contents and improving presentation, navigation, and search using existing content and metadata.

The custom Playbooks search filter is built, registered, and working. Not hypothetical. Not something to investigate.

You dug up the old search configuration, found an available slot, and registered your new filter as event 110, naming it Playbooks.

Now, when you search for Medavie, you can apply the Playbooks filter and see only the matching Playbooks results.

The proof of concept uses an earlier .htm version of the Playbooks in the sandbox. You've based the filter on a sample of folder paths that loosely correspond to the categories in the current Playbooks.

The distinction matters:

  • Completed: Custom search filter registered and demonstrated successfully.

  • Source: Earlier Playbooks .htm files and their sandbox folder structure.

  • Current implementation: Modern Playbooks with a Category metadata column.

  • Next official task: Replace the existing Table of Contents.

  • Boundary: No changes to Playbook content.

And the interesting result of today's work is that you've demonstrated user-selectable Playbooks-only search through SharePoint's existing search configuration, independently of the upcoming migration.

That's a concrete result worth carrying forward.
